Tour Itinerary

Kenmare Departure(09:00am)
Begin your journey from Kenmare, the jewel in the Ring of Kerry towards Killarney, passing through Aghadoe.
Castlemaine & Inch Beach
We go through the Castlemaine, home of Jack Duggan, the Wild Colonial Boy, and take a stroll on Inch Strand, a stunning white sandy beach stretching for 3 miles (5km). Passing Lispole we arrive in Dingle, a vibrantly coloured fishing port.
Slea Head Drive
The tour continues to the Slea Head Drive, a scenic circle loop of 26 miles/41 km. On the loop, we travel through Ventry, Dunquin and Ballyferriter. At the edge of Europe history is everywhere - Iron Age forts, beehive huts, early-Christian churches and picturesque stone houses set against a patchwork of fields.
Blasket Islands
Visiting the Blasket Centre with stunning views of the wild Atlantic coast at the halfway point of the Slea Head Drive, the Blasket Centre is a fascinating heritage and cultural centre, commemorating the unique community who lived on the remote Blasket Islands until their evacuation in 1953.
Gallarus Oratory
A centre of Christian monasticism in the 7th century and the site of an ogham stone, alphabet stone, sundial, and a stone cross.
Dingle Town
After the Slea Head Tour we travel to Dingle town, with free time to lunch and browse the beautiful stores in Dingle Town.
Return to Kenmare & Local delights(5:30pm)
Conclude your tour back in Killarney, where you can unwind with a traditional Irish meal. Explore local pubs, listen to live music, and reflect on a memorable journey.
