Begin your journey from Kenmare, the jewel in the Ring of Kerry and then take the iconic suspension bridge over Kenmare Bay, to start are journey on the mysical Beara Peninsula.
Gleninchaquin Park & Uragh Stone Circle
The magical site of Uragh stone circle, located on a hill overlooking a lake with a waterfall in the far distance, is spectacular. with wild rugged scenery throughout Gleinchaquin Park.
Derreen Gardens
We visit the Derreen Estate and discover it’s 150-year-old magical gardens, full of rare and exotic plants. Discover what an important role the house and the family played in Kenmare's history.
Eyries & Allihies
The Beara’s Caha Mountains that form a spine along the peninsula, guide us to the picturesque, colourful villages of Eyries and Allihies. Visiting Ballycrovane Ogham Stone, Allihies Copper Mines and Ballydonegan Beach.
Castletownbere & Bantry Bay
A visit to Dzogchen Beara Buddhist Retreat Centre is a perfect stop to take in the views of Bantry Bay and unwind before driving into Castletownbere, a vibrant fishing port.
The Healy Pass
Returning to Kenmare we take the windy Healy Pass, with its twists and turns, a route like no other you have seen.
Return to Kenmare for the evening(5:30pm)
Conclude your tour back in Killarney, where you can unwind with a traditional Irish meal. Explore local pubs, listen to live music, and reflect on a memorable journey.
